Interior Trends: Dark & Moody

Bedrooms are a room where a dark colour works really well. Some people like a light, bright, airy bedroom. I am not one of those people. A bedroom is a place to relax, and for me dark shades will always be more relaxing and restful than light ones. This is one of the bedrooms at One Mill House. The wallpaper is black and the bedding and curtains are dark grey. It's such a warm, cosy room, although the wallpaper pattern and the lighter carpet keep it feeling quite bright too.

Interior Inspo: The Houzz of 2018

A few weeks ago, I, along with several hundred other interior design fanatics, paid a visit to London's Soho to take part in a house tour. The house, at 19 Greek Street, was a six day pop up event, organised by interiors website Houzz, to showcase where interior design is headed this year.

The five story period townhouse had been completely transformed from a blank canvas, into a gorgeous family home. It had been designed from scratch by Houzz professionals and interior design agency Run For The Hills, and showcased lots of new home products by some fantastic interiors brands.

Interior Inspo: A Stunning Townhouse in De Beauvoir

The event was hosted in the most stunning townhouse in London's very fashionable De Beauviour neighbourhood. Amazingly we each had pretty much free reign at the end of the workshop to wander around the house and practice our new found photography skills.
